We forged new alliances with them and together rebuilt a civilization in the oasis of Asgartha. Now the time has finally come to leave the safety of our walls and explore the altered world. What are you waiting for? Discover what lies beyond the gates! Altered is a collectible card game for two players in which each player manages their own deck tied to a specific faction and guided by a hero card. Each player will lead two expeditions to explore the lands surrounding Asgartha. One expedition will be led by the hero, represented by the hero's expedition marker, while the other will be led by their companion, represented by the companion's expedition marker. Over the course of the game, the expeditions will progress towards each other with the goal of having the hero meet their companion before their opponent. Altered: Beyond the Gates contains over 500 playable cards (excluding unique cards). To start playing, you'll need a starter deck. Each starter deck already contains all the cards you need to start playing. You can customize it or build new decks with cards from the booster packs.
